The above commands will search thru every available message in ALL
conferences areas you are set to scan for any message that has both
the word "PCBoard" @X0CAND@X07 the word "LANtastic" in it.

The above commands will search thru every available message in ALL
@X0F @X07conferences areas you are set to scan for any message that has both
@X0F @X07the word "PCBoard" @X0CAND@X07 either the word "LANtastic" @X0COR@X07 the word
@X0F @X07"DESQview" in it.
@X0F @X07The parenthesis tell PCBoard how you want to group your criteria if
@X0F @X07you have a complex search request such as the one above. It will
@X0F @X07allow for nearly any number of parens and any combination of AND's
@X0F @X07(using the "@X0C&@X07" character) and OR's (using the "@X0C|@X07" character).
@X0C * TS A 1+ USER JOHN DOE <enter>
PCBoard & Help <enter>
@X0F @X07The above command (similar to examples above) adds the keyword USER
@X0F @X07to the command line specifying that only messages that are either
@X0F @X07TO or FROM John Doe should be displayed if they are found to have
@X0F @X07both the words PCBoard and Help in them.

@X0F @X07The above command will capture all messages in all conferences since
@X0F @X07the last message read, compress the capture file and the begin the
@X0F @X07download procedure.
@X0C * R SET 100 <enter>
Sets the last message read for that conference to 100.
